NACS staff member death

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you about a recent loss to our Napoleon school community.  Mrs. Keli Baker, a Napoleon Preschool teacher, died suddenly last night, February 16, 2021.  Mrs. Baker prematurely leaves behind a loving family with two wonderful young daughters.  Mrs. Baker was more than a teacher, she was also a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and coach.  She was always supportive of all things Napoleon and especially of all the Napoleon students. The impact that Mrs. Baker has had on our Napoleon community is wide reaching and will be remembered by all.  We ask for you to lift the family and the community up in your prayers during this difficult time.  Funeral arrangements are pending with Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home in Napoleon.

This loss is sure to raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for our entire school, especially our students.  Our school has a Crisis Intervention Team made up of a professionals trained to help with the needs of students, parents, and school personnel at difficult times such as this. At each school building, we have counselors available for any student who may need or want help or any type of assistance surrounding this loss.
